Sorry I'm in a bit of rush today. I'm actually sat in my car waiting for my next class in 30 minutes so I thought lets talk about how I have managed to stay sane being such a busy body during and can we call this after lock down...? I don't know if lockdown is officially over so I don't even know what to call it.
Anyways! We have some new subscribers here today so before we continue with our meditation blog, when I write, I type as I think so I may come across as informal because I don't want to sound too robotic if you get what I mean. I am capable of writing formally but I want you to read this blog like we are having a conversation or rather like I am teaching you. In any case, let me know if you like this style of blogging or if you prefer formal robotic blogging... Moving on!!
Meditation is not fitness I know but anything that is good for you and can help you mentally and physically, I will educate myself and share my experiences with you.
I have always been into meditation solely because I find it calms me down and allows me to switch off momentarily. Anyone that knows me, also knows that I am a very active person, always on the move, always thinking of different ways to give my clients the best experience working with me (By the way if you haven't signed up to my online classes or my weekly workout plans click here) so my brain is on the go 24/7, always in the zone. Sometimes its ok to relax and just switch off for a moment so I find meditation works for me and it might work for you. Here are some reasons why.
I like this one. Constant focus on work and being active can sometimes cause migraines or headaches. We all get stressed sometimes during the week/day at work depending on what your life style is like so taking time to be still, inactive and just to meditate can eliminate any pain related to headaches (Relax your mind).
Improvement of memory
By relaxing your brain meditation has been shown to increase memory in people. Let me explain; when you have a lot of things on your mind and your brain is always active, is it fair to say that sometimes we forget littlest things? Think about that. If yes then this point is valid, If no, let's have a conversation; always looking to learn new things and understand peoples point of view.
Anyways I don't have a lot of time left as I need to get ready for my class so these are the only two points for now. I owe you guys a few part 2's.
