I’m sure everything you are about to read, you are already fully aware of but please be sure to share this as there are people that are still ignorant of everything that is happening at the moment.
As we can all see on social media, this virus is causing a lot of noise and as serious as this is, it is really important that everyone stays calm as panicking is not going to solve anything. I understand there has been talking about a possible lock down taking place in the UK and a lot of people are worried about not being able to train at the gym. Some people might even be worried as they don't want to be stuck at home with no plan of action for staying fit which is understandable. In this case, have a look at my online coaching which offers live training sessions that allows me to train you wherever you are. Not only will you get live sessions with me, you will also get unlimited contact with me, a tailored periodised workout plan (with video demonstrations), tailored macros and tracking / sample meal plan and many more so sign up for a 7 day free trial with me. https://www.zone24-7.com/plans-pricing-zone247
According to the information on the WHO website, most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover however, it can be more severe for others (1) so please take care of your health and protect others by following the basic health guidelines below especially at the gym.
Wash Your Hands Frequently
Doing this kills viruses that may be on your hands. if you come into contact with any metal surface - wash your hands as soon as you can with a bacterial soap as bacteria live for at least 12 hours.
Maintain Social Distancing
Maintain 1 meter (3 feet) between yourself and anyone who is sneezing or coughing to avoid any small liquid spray / droplets from their nose or mouth. (When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with tissue then get rid of the used tissue ASAP).
Avoid Touching Eyes, Nose And Mouth
Your hands can easily transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth when contaminated. From there, the virus can enter your body therefore, making you sick.
Clean After Yourself
When you use an equipment at the gym, please wipe your equipment down using the anti-bacteria spray and tissue and of course, bin the tissue ASAP.
Stay At Home
If you have a fever, cough or you are finding it difficult to breath, seek medical care early and stay at home. If you know someone who is feeling unwell, please advise them to stay at home even with mild symptoms such as headache and slight runny nose until they have recovered. Doing this and seeking medical care protects you and others from possible coronavirus and other viruses.
